Mike Nelson has lived in East Idaho on and off since 1978. Once upon a time, when he was younger, he worked for that “other” younger station. He’s grown out of that music, but remarkably looks just the same.
When given a choice, Mike will almost always choose the thing he’s never tried over the thing he knows he loves. Mike likes buttons. He likes to push them. He likes the process of discovering what happens when he does. Mike’s favorite things are dryer exhaust, flying dreams, and "It's a Small World Holiday" at Disneyland.
He’s a dog person, and he’s lazy. Which is why he has Siamese cats. He claims they’re more like dogs than some dogs. They’re social, they’re vocal, they fetch, they come when they’re called, and they’re happy to see him. And they instinctively pee and poo in a sandbox, so they’re low maintenance.
Mike lives with his wife, three kids and two Siamese cats in Idaho Falls.
