Classy 97 Family Feud: When The Son Doesn’t Want To Rise & Shine

From November 13, 2019

Dear Liza,

I know you have a teenage son. So do we. (I think they know one another) You know how difficult it is to get teenagers up and out of bed? My wife thinks it would be a good idea for my son to set his schedule next trimester so that he doesn’t have any classes before 10:00 a.m. I think this is ridiculous! I know teens need more sleep, but in the real world, men have to get up and go to work in the morning. Isn’t it a bad idea to let him sleep in now and develop that habit? How will he ever learn to be an adult and get to work on time if we let him create an easy schedule for himself now? What would you do?
